Charity Walk in Subang

|
Since I have nothing much to blog about lately due to my busy lifestyle, i thought that I would post something just to prevent my blog from becoming moldy ( You all know who I meant right?) Anyhow, I'm having a giant project for my moral studies currently. The project is to raise fund for the needy people and my group in Sunway College is helping an organization called "Harvest Center" to raise 10k fund for them. It may sound easy and all of you would be thinking "Just do it and look for donations and forget about it" but our group has an even bigger plan for this. Our group members has decided to host an event called Walk For The Children event in Sunway in order to get the needed funds. So, what is this so called Charity Walk event is all about?

I'm sure all of you would remember the Ipoh International Run or Starwalk event back at Ipoh right? Well, it's basically the same (except that this event is held by a group of 20 students like me...) and we were hoping to get at least 1000 participants to join this event in order to help the children in "Harvest Center". We are hoping that this event will be a massive success and all of you reading this could give me a hand by giving me tremendous moral support ( or cash, if you are willing to... :p ) If you want to know more, please drop by to this site. The registration is still open and all donations would still be accepted if you wish to do so, and i hope all of you could come and participate this event (If you are here in Subang during that time la...) Here is some of the banner and basic info about this upcoming event...
Signing off, Bluedrake a.k.a. Shippoukitsune.

Lost and Found!!! Sweat....

|
Today I went to Pyramid to buy myself a lousy LAN cable and audio wire for my computer. After buying them, I took a taxi and went back to m hostel as usual. The surprising part was when the security guard asked me for my hostel card, I fished my hand into pants and found..... NOTHING!!! OMG!!! I began to trace back my step and I was sure I lost my wallet in the taxi i took to come back to my hostel. After much debating with the security guard, he finally believed what I had just said and I call my mum. Being a mum, she was worried (and angry at the same time) that I lost my wallet. After the phone call, I went looking for my roommate. After calling the cab station, my roommate followed me back to Sunway Pyramid and try our luck asking the taxi drivers. To my astonishment, the cashier returned me the wallet that I had lost (with everything still intact....) and told me that the taxi driver was honest enough to put my wallet in the lost and found department. The conclusion of this story is:

1) Don't wear pants that are so loose that the wallet can practically drop off your pants
2) Not all Malaysian are selfish and bad
3) Don't tell your parents and freak them out (unless you are 100% sure it's unretrievable)
4) Don't carry important documents in your wallet.
5) Don't be a fool like me. ( haha....)

At least the wallet is back and I lost nothing (except for losing 10 bucks for going to Pyramid again)
