My second paintball activity!

|
It was the time again for paintball activity and as usual, Jon was our organizer for the event. The place was booked and the time was set but there is one thing missing, my course mates bailed out from the game. The douchebags that had bailout the paintball activities are :

1) Shanjiff = Go overseas kononnya...
2) Aaron = So say had some fatal injuries a few days before the paintball game
3) Eric = Don't even have a reason!!!
4) Kian Hong = Sensitive to pain....

Not to say I'm disappointed but I was really looking forward to the paintball game as it was exciting, fun and dangerous at the same time. However the activity was not canceled as Jon had brought along two of his friends as well which is Emir (Another paintball veteran) and Timothy (His friend is from United Kingdom). So in the end, it's only me, Cheryl, Jon Timothy and Emir that participated the paintball event. Our trainer Ray, (Picture not available) is a professional paintballer and had give us the simple briefing again (about not responsible if you are dead in the game half-way...) before we get to start the game.

Before the game starts.
First time wearing a mask....

The first game was 3 against 2 which consists of me, Cheryl and Timothy going against the two veteran players (Jon and Emir) As planned from the beginning we get to strengthen our defense and whoop Jon and Emir's ass (Timothy got Emir while Cheryl got Jon) Once we were out of the arena, Ray said that there were too little players in the game and therefore had joined in together with a few Marshal as well. We are stunned as according to Jon, Marshal are people who is expert in the paintball field and can literally wipe us out in seconds. Since it was the first time for a few of us (Namely me, Cheryl and Timothy), so we decided to give a try. So, during round two it was 4 Marshal and Ray against all five of us. Once the match started, the arena was a war zone and I was the first to get wipe out. One of the Marshal managed to shoot their pallet onto my marker (it's called a marker, not a gun...) and I was out for the game. The others didn't get last long before they got wasted as well. Emir managed to defeat his trainer Ray but was out as well when the other Marshal shot him. Jon had another pallet on his shoulder and Cheryl was shot on the arm. The end result was 1-5 (Marshal team one eliminated and our team was 100% annihilated)
Aw, how sad. There is a first time for everyone though :)

By the time we are ready for the third round, Ray had to go as he was busy and the third match ended in a 4 vs 4. So it was me, Jon, Timothy and Emir against 3 Marshal and Cheryl (lucky her...) Once the match started, The war zone started again and I was shot at the face almost seconds after the game started. If it wasn't for the helmet I'm wearing, my face would have been gone. The others didn't last long as well and the game ended with a 4-0 victory (Marshal team 0 casualties and our team 100% annihilated again...)
Can you see the paint splattered to my mask?
Closer look at the mask. Two pallets are actually over there, Ouch...

Before the fourth round began, the Marshall decided not to make our life miserable and let us play on our own, so it was back to 3 vs 2 (same people on each team) Once the game started, I was lucky enough to finish Emir off within seconds and Jon seconds later, making me the hero :)
However, the Referee felt the game ended too fast and ask us to continue the fifth round instantly. (Same people on each team) By the fifth round, Jon and Emir was much more organized and managed to counter fire our assault. Cheryl and Timothy was out of the game after a minute plus, leaving me to face against the two veterans. As I was suppressing fire on Emir, Jon had slowly approached me from the other side. While he was on his way, Cheryl and Timothy had yelled to me warning about Jon. (They are not supposed to do that but since we are beginners, it was ok) By the time I looked at Jon, he had jumped to an obstacle for safety and even managed to shot my arm. The fifth game ended 3-0 (Jon's team 0 casualties, my team 100% annihilated...)

When we were done with the fifth round, Timothy had to go back and that leaves only the four of us. Having not enough people, we had decided that we would use the remaining ammo for the target range...
Jon aiming at the target range...
Cheryl and her not so accurate aiming skills...
Giggling with myself while aiming, scary...
Two markers to use, cool!

While we were still at the target range, I have made a few videos for our group. Here is Jon and his cracked up marker. Note: he could really shoot the marker that fast, but it was too fast until the marker cannot stop by itself...

This video was taken by me as the gunner in a first person mode. I'm too lazy to add crosshair and additional details onto the video, so it looked like Counter Strike or COD 4 XD...

The last video was the end of my killing spree streak lol...

<

In the end, everyone had a fun time even if there was not enough people but I'm happy nonetheless. It was an eye-opening experience and getting shot was quite fun actually. I'll be looking forward to my next paintball match soon. Before we left the paintball arena, Jon had to do some silly stuff again...
Is he lame or what???

Now that it's semester break, I'm back to Ipoh for 3 weeks or more and I'll be looking forward to see my old buddies again. Hope to see all of you again soon! Signing off Bluedrake a.k.a. Shipoukitsune

Exams + stress + guilt = not a good combination...

|
My past, my shadows, my darkness is haunting me back once again...

Ever since the exams started, (that was last week...) I've been feeling guilty for I did not really give 100% commitment to my studies. The reason that I'm writing this is to ask myself, why the hell am I still fooling around when my parent had gave me everything that I ever wanted...

I want a laptop, my mum bought 1 for me. I want to study in IT field, my mum grant my wish, I want to change my hostel room because of some silly reasons, she helped me out. So why can't I grant my mum's wish now? She just wanted me to get good grades for my exam and I can't even fulfill this simple task. Not that I'm saying that I'm failing my test or anything, but my point is that I've not been a good son and I wish I could reverse the timeline so I can have a fresh start again. I'm sure all my friends (old or new) will know my attitude very well and I wish I could have done something about it. I wished that God or someone I know will give me some good advice on how to be a respectable person that could make my mum proud.

If anyone is kind enough to help this pathetic kid, please kindly leave an advice (I DON'T WANT ANY INSULTS, I KNOW WHO I AM OK? JUST GIVE ME SOME ADVISE!) in my chatbox or the comments ok? Signing off, Bluedrake a.k.a. Shippoukitsune

FITM semester 2 farewell party!

|
After 6 months (or less) of hard work and torture, the study course was finally over and it was time to organize a farewell party for semester 2 before we start to prepare for the final exam! The party was organized by two of our lecturers which were Mrs. Ahzurah and Ms Kristen Priya. The farewell party was organized on the 2th of July and was held in room 2-17. To cut things short, the whole party was awesome and everyone was having the time of their life while chowing down all the food. A few days before the party started, everyone was given a job to buy something that is edible and my job (including Cheryl and Kian Hong) was to get the drinks and cutlery for the party. During the party, my group (technically only Cheryl) had bought plenty of soft drinks and cutlery for everyone while Jon, Shanjiff and Eric bought a whole bucket of KFC. Aaron brought some weird spaghetti with wine in it and our lecturers got us some really nice looking cake and nasi lemak. Without further ado, here is some of the pictures :)
Our Maths and English lecturer. Remember, don't judge a book by its cover...
Before the party started, the lecturers has been staring at the food...
Unfortunately, Jon was on the food patrol duty...
After some long-winded (but meaningful) speech by our lecturers, the party has finally started!
While everyone was busy eating, I was looking at Jon's enormous collection of pirated DVD...
Kian Hong was having difficult time to choose what to eat. So many food, so little time...
While eating, everyone had decided to watch a comedy movie using the projector in the class...
Once the movie was over it was posing time and someone is always missing in the picture...
Finally the missing person is in the picture. Everyone was suppose to stare at her, except for 2 certain blur case folks...
The only unedited picture here, haha

There was suppose to be a few extra posing photos but the pictures were not given to me, so these are the ones I currently have. Once the posing session was over, our lecturers were kind enough to show all of you our true colors when we are in class. Here is some of them...
Eric the "Pura Pura", bribing the lecturers...
When he runs out of money to bribe them...
Shnajiff's situation when his homework was not done...
My lecturer's virtual gun when I didn't do my homework...
Kian Hong feeling sleepy while taking back his wonderful result for his assignment paper...
Jon, feeling sissy when he's in trouble...
Aaron getting chopped by our lecturer's virtual knife...
The one and only person that always gets a smile from the lecturer. Darn it...
Adel, when he uses his "go to KLIA" excuse...

Like any other good party, it will have to eventually end and the party was over by 12.30. Everyone was assigned to clean and pack up the all the rubbish before the next class comes in. The whole party was totally enjoyable for me and it was a mind-blasting experience (if you know what I mean...) for everyone in FITM...

The next day itself, I followed Eric, Kian Hong and a few FIA students to see the movie Transformers 2. The movie was not bad, but not too good at the same time. I just can't find the correct word to describe them.
The movie poster for Transformers 2.

The next time I will be updating my blog will be 2 weeks from now, which is after my current final exam (starting from 6th July...) Until then, we will meet again. Signing off Bluedrake a.k.a. Shippoukitsune
