My new sports experience

Since today is a weekend, I have some free time and I might tell you guys what I did last week. As all of us in the college is damn free, my friend Jon suggested that we go for a paintball match. Feeling scared and excited at the same time, all of us agreed on the matter and went to the paintball field arena. This whole thing is new to me and some of my friends so it was quite scary at first. The 1st thing we did when we reach the arena was that we pay the fees (duh....) which cost us 60+ per person. Then we get a lecture from some experienced duded telling us the consequences such as getting shot at the private part (which may lead to amputation...) and told us the rules. While we were busy listening Jon and Aaron was busy preparing themselves as they have vast experience in this sport. (Jon's a coach and Aaron's a hardcore paintball dude) And now for some pictures!

This is the place where we do the booking and reservation for the equipment. The place looked muddy due to heavy rain the day before we came...
This is a giant field with lot's of obstacle to hide ourselves from the opponents. Due to insufficient members, we have to use the smaller field (no picture for that field) but we did use this arena for the last match though....

The only protection gear we have, a cool mask and a lousy vest for each of us... The pros (Jon and Aaron) does not need to wear vest though. ( they said that their body were made of steel...)
After hearing and knowing more about the consequences when playing paintball, we all get dressed up and prepare for the game...

Match 1!
That's me hiding my ass behind the obstacle to prevent my ass from being shot (though I get shot 3 times on my knee...) The atmosphere is just like counter strike except that it's really painful and does not have a restart button...

That's me (on the right) spying on the opponent (Jon and Eric) while Aaron does the shooting. Eric did a ricochet shot as his stray bullet bounce onto the ground and hit my stomach...
The two aimed me while Aaron got to shoot them nicely but eventually we lose to both of them...

2nd round
Me, John and Eric going against the tough-ass Aaron. Me and John got shot while Eric finished Aaron. That is a 3 on 1 handicapped match. Kian Hong is not there because he was in pain, so he take pictures of us instead....

So in the end we have a lot of fun (and pain) and it really gives me a new experience for paintball. I went back to examine my bruise and found 2 at the shoulder, 3 on the knee, 1 on my elbow and one one my stomach....
